A fact from Iconic (concert) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 27 March 2023 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Sharon Cuneta and Regine Velasquez's concert Iconic has been referred to as a venture of two unrivaled names in the music scene of the Philippines?

... that the Daily Tribune referred to Sharon Cuneta's and Regine Velasquez's concert, Iconic, as a venture of "two unrivaled names in the music scene" in the Philippines? Source: An Iconic Collaboration; Daily Tribune via PressReader; Lizan, Louise; October 15, 2019; "For the first time ever, Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez, two unrivaled names in the music scene, will share the same stage..."

New enough, long enough. Earwig comes back high just because there are some quotes and the use of song names, so cleared of any copyvio issue. Sourcing is present throughout the article and the hooks are sourced; I would perhaps alter the phrasing of the first hook, though, to remove the trailing modifier "in the Philippines". While it's perhaps implied, it's not explicit in the source and not added in the article. I also think the more experienced DYK team should weigh in on whether the terminology "the Daily Tribune referred" is correct–typically statements like this should be attributed to the person that made them, not the entity that published them. ALT1 is good to go without concern from me. ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:25, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I made some minor wording changes as I read through
I think this section should be split to make a new promotion section.
I've added a promotion section
What was the online promotion? Source?
It was mostly through social media, so I've added posts from Instagram and Facebook as primary sources, if acceptable (Iabot doesn't seem to capture the archiving of these, and manual Wayback archive appears to be down at the moment)
"leading to social restrictions making the tour impossible to go ahead." <- rephrase this
Done
"but there was the promise of further announcements to follow in due course" <- rephrase this
Done
The link is News.ABS-CBN.com. Fix the wikilinks throughout the article
Done
Was there any promotion for the US legs?
From what I've checked, it's all social media posts, since the US leg resumed post-COVID, much of television programs have been affected by the 2020 ABS-CBN shutdown, which is where they promoted the 2019 show.
Per MOS:PLOT (which is about fiction, but I believe it to be relevant to this too), much of this is self-source but the addition of actual refs is very helpful.
"The list evolved over the course of the concert tour, and sometimes included other numbers." <-This may be true, but I would rather something less certain if there is no specific ref for it.
Leg 4's three refs appear to need archive links as those pages have since been updated and this information is no longer there.
All switched to the archived version
The canceled shows needed a bit of research to verify (listed venues, but not always the city). Overall, this still checked out.
I tried looking for other sources, unfortunately, this is the only article the detailed the cancelled shows and the cities, but it doesn't mention the venues, I assume for the same cities they visited when the tour resumed, that remained unchanged, but for those who were left out, there is no source as to which venue. Tried the production company site that handled this event, I could not seem to find the 2020 venues as well.
Ref 2: A translated version of this appears to back up the claims between Regine and Sharon.
Ref 4: backs up the quote, but what was left out in between those phrases and is that necessary?
Did you mean ref 3 for the quote? I've one more line on the quote. I've only included the quotation which references her admiration of Cuneta, and tried to avoid those in Tagalog. This is the full quote from the article "Nahihiya ako kasi I’ve always idolized her ever since. The first song I memorized was Mr. DJ. So, I have a [standard] Sharon Cuneta medley, and I've even seen most of her movies—in the cinema!"
No it was ref 4, but I fixed it for you. For one of the ellipsis, there was nothing actually removed. Grk1011 (talk) 18:04, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ref 11: source for the review is good.
Ref 13: backs up the unrivaled quote and performance.
Ref 25: review is also good.
Earwig's tool shows 16% (violation unlikely) and is mainly due to the properly attributed quotes.
@Grk1011: thanks for taking on the review. I have actioned all points. Let me know if I may have missed anything. Pseud 14 (talk) 17:03, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, passing now! Optional suggestion: In the last 2-3 sentences of "Background and development" where you speak about the North American tour legs, add the number of tour dates for those legs with refs. Grk1011 (talk) 18:04, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Grk1011: thanks for the edits. I've added the suggestion. Feel free to edit/revise. Much appreciate your time in reviewing. Pseud 14 (talk) 18:42, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
