There is an oil painting of Green on the external link to the RCS biography; and it is probably by Thomas Phillips. I'd prefer a more solid identification. Charles Matthews (talk) 08:43, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
In his new book, The Body - a guide for occupants, Bill Bryson starts chapter 7, The Heart and Blood, with a quote from Green. " 'Stopped' - Last word of Joseph Henry Green (1791-1863) while feeling his own pulse". Seems unlikely, if he did indeed die from a seizure, as mentioned in this article (and has a citation needed added). Is anyone aware of the veracity of this account? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.212.129.70 (talk) 23:42, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
