Was Leolin Forestier-Walker a baronet?
For the elections 1918–1924, he is listed by Craig as "C. L. Forestier-Walker", and for 1929 onwards as "Sir C. L. Forestier-Walker, Bt.", but I can find no other sources to support the baronetcy.
Rayment's list of FORESTIER-WALKER of Castleton, Monmouth baronets does not include him, and I can find no trace of him on thepeerage.com amongst the (incomplete) entries for the descendants of Sir George Townshend Walker, 1st Bt.
Google threw up one reference [1] to him having a KBE; and User:Necrothesp/Honours_Lists/1925_Honours_Lists lists him under the KBEs, but I can't find any mention of him in the linked issue of the London Gazette.
Does anyone have any definitive sources? --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 14:46, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
