As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles' Project quality task force ("GA Sweeps"), all old good articles are being re-reviewed to ensure that they meet current good article criteria (as detailed at WP:WIAGA.) I have determined that this article needs some work to meet current criteria, outlined below:
- The article, judging from the history, is outdated; for example "His most recent role was as Peter in Paul (2005)."
- Unsourced statements:
- "At Highgate he took the lead in a notable production of The Roses of Eyam by Don Taylor which was directed by Philip Swan and also starred Tamsin Greig and Aubrey Nunn of Faithless."
- "Owen's film career has included appearances in short films, and supporting roles in The Republic of Love (2003) (as Peter), which was based on a novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Carol Shields, and in Miss Potter (2006) (as a solicitor named William Heelis who married children's author Beatrix Potter)."
- A paragraph requires at least three sentences; therefor the one or two-sentence groups need to be cut, merged, or expanded.
- What makes [1], [2] (404) and [3] reliable?
I am putting the article on hold for seven days pending improvements to the above. Keep me posted on this page. Thanks, Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 17:25, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- As no progress has been made towards improving the article in the time alotted, I am delisting. You may renominate at WP:GAN any time, but I strongly encourage upkeep towards the above. Direct any further comments to my talk page. Thanks, Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 16:02, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Sorry, I started on it but got busy and didn't have a chance to complete the work. Will renominate after I've finished. Thanks. — Cheers, JackLee –talk– 17:10, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
