What is the purpose of having a list here. A complete list would take over the entire article, as there are 250 articles just in the medical associations in the US category. What's to determine what articles are worthy of being listed here? Natureium (talk) 15:13, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The article definitely should focus on the concept and function of a medical college. WP:Wikipedia is not a directory warns against articles that are primarily a directory of establishments – these become a magnet for indiscriminate additions – although you could argue that a list of medical colleges by region/country, etc. satisfies WP:Stand-alone lists as long as the inclusion criteria are well-defined, e.g. notable enough to have a Wikipedia article of their own. I'd be tempted to split off the section Medical college #Medical Colleges into a stand-alone list article, and look for decent sources to write content that fleshes out the so-called "summary" in the lead. --RexxS (talk) 18:26, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A list article is possible, but we already have categories of medical associations by country. I know that categories and lists aren't the same, but I don't know what information this list could contain that a category wouldn't. Natureium (talk) 19:00, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
