Is it necessary to have the link to the list of additives in cigarettes in the see also section? It implies a bias, and though it's relevant to the tobacco page or cigarette page, it doesn't contribute anything relevant to a page on a specific brand of cigarettes. Cherokee40 23:42, 17 October 2007 (UTC)Does anyone know the advantage of the recessed filter on p-funks?
Parliaments' unique filter recesses are notoriously used for snorting cocaine. One recess fits approximately half a line.
The purpose of the recessed filter is to keep you from getting the end of the ciggerete on your teeth. The idea behind this is to keep your teeth from getting niccotine stains.
I have heard this originated from the need tor machinegunners to smoke while at their post, and they must bite the ciggarette in their teeth.
unsane24's tip of the day:
One great benefit of the recessed filter is when you are on your last cigarette and, after one too many drinks or just bad luck, you flick too hard ashing and break it. Bummer, eh? But no........ Just tear the unsmoked portion off at the end of the filter, twist the unburnt end and insert into the recess on the filter, and smoke away. Voila, you can enjoy the rest of your smoke!
mtskv5's tip: P-Funks are good for all of those cocaine users out there as well.
How are you going to find a reliable source for this? ive seen it many times myself and most parliament smokers know about this, do you smoke parliaments? Cherokee40 17:20, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Hi everyone, how about to add something information about using the recessed filter to measure and take the dose of amphetamine in Russia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.188.55.33 (talk) 07:49, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
As a lifelong Parliament smoker, I wish I didn't have to do that... but the recessed filter theories really need sources, and I can't find any. :( All I know is that I love them; they've totally spoiled me for other cigarettes. Doc Sigma (wait, what?) 13:57, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I remember a discussion like this between my grandfather and father about the war. The gunners were able to bite down on the filter without ruining it while they were shooting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.190.90.97 (talk) 20:46, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
Image:PARLIAMENT.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Notice the writing upon the navy blue label on the upper side of the pack - it's in Hebrew! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.108.117.189 (talk) 20:01, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
I removed this line from the first paragraph: This has earned them the the title of a "coke cigarette".[citation needed] Thats a pretty big claim, especially since I know lots of people that smoke P-lights and none of them blow coke with it, so this claim shouldn't be so prominent.
In this article there was a claim that Parliaments are forbidden in Europe. I find no source or citation for that, so the sentence has been removed. Someone can add it back when he/she finds a reliable source. It is simply implausible that a whole continent forbids a single brand of cigarettes. Wandering Courier (talk) 02:26, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
It would explain why I've never seen them on sale anywhere in Europe. It's more than plausible that they have an EU wide ban but I can't find any mention of one via google. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.194.43.139 (talk) 19:24, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
