Requested move 18 January 2024

Symbols of New South Wales → List of New South Wales state symbols – Changing to match the format in Category:Lists of United States state symbols by state, Category:Lists of Brazilian state symbols by state, and Category:Lists of Philippine provincial symbols.

Also this discussion should have been at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Australian_Wikipedians%27_notice_board where there is more likelihood of editors being able to see the discussion, a comment has been left there regarding this location. Comment - If the move is rejected, there might be a case for renaming List of symbols of states and territories of Australia to Symbols of states and territories of Australia for consistency, or merging it with National symbols of Australia into Symbols of Australia. Oppose - present naming conveys meaning simply and succinctly. Will Thorpe (talk) 12:40, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
