It seems to be standard practise on the Doctor Who episode pages to have it like this. I don't think it's bad, but I'm not terribly attached to it. Carl.bunderson (talk) 20:27, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I recall reading that the director of this episode went so far over budget that he never worked at the BBC again. We'd need to be sure we have a ref before saying something like that though. Algr (talk) 07:18, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'll have to dig it out, but I've got one that is a Doctor Who Magazine special, UNIT Exposed. However, off the top of my head I'm certain that what it says is that there was no question of his directing on Who again, not at the BBC as a whole. --Ted Watson (talk) 20:26, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here's what the article says, ″The serial went so far over budget – even more expensive than The Invasion – that it precluded Combe from returning to Doctor Who." There's no attribution, so the article might just be printing a rumor. ClassicCF (talk) 21:13, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
