any info on the theme song? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnRussell (talk • contribs) 20:06, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
I feel the way this was described as a "series" in three parts was misleading; they were three distinct series produced at different times. In American parlance, these would be "seasons" (U.S. usage is that "series" refers to all related programmes in all seasons).
Also, to me a "part" is more likely to refer to an individual programme.
I've tried to clear this up without getting bogged down in detail. Fourohfour 14:40, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Although Tim Hunkin encourages downloading of the show, does he actually have the rights to the show? CardinalFangZERO 03:25, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
We recorded several episodes when the show was broadcast in the U.S. It was actually shown on The Learning Channel (TLC). My son and I just reviewed the tapes for one of his school science projects and confirmed the broadcast channel. Since I'm new to editing Wikipedia I didn't actually change the article. --Landsturm (talk) 23:29, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
It's a shame in the article that they didn't talk about the historical TV and movie clips pertaining to the device mentioned. I thought these old commercials and movie clips were a brilliant addition to the program and one of my favorite aspects of the show. DrummerKeech (talk) 19:23, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
