- I suggest not using the photograph of the child with smallpox. Over the years the inclusion of this image in the smallpox article has given rise to an awful lot of controversy. - Thank you @Graham Beards: for bringing that to attention and watching over. I used the image as it is the only one on Commons depicting smallpox signs in Bangladesh 1973, when Geddes witnessed such cases that later contributed to him diagnosing a case (rare as seeing a unicorn on a British lawn according to one reference) in 1978. Quite an incredible story. I still have some tidying to do on the article but value your suggestions. I will leave the rest to the reviewer. Whispyhistory (talk) 10:43, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. The image is in the public domain but I suggest we don't use it as a picture hook. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:15, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
