  • Date, length, hook, age, and everything else checks out; I would be fine with either of the proposed hooks being selected for the main page. My only question is about the first hook. Do you think that there should be clarity on the "to help their communities be more inclusive" part? My first question when reading the hook was who is this being more inclusive towards? After reading the article, I understand now that it is based on gender, but maybe some revision to make this idea clearer would be helpful. I could be reading too much into it though so apologies if that is the case. Otherwise, great work with this. Aoba47 (talk) 04:22, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the review, @Aoba47:. My first hook isn't specific about who needs to be included. I struckthrough the original and wrote an alternate hook below--what do you think of it?
  • ALT2 ... that computer science lecturer Cynthia B. Lee advised Stanford computer science professors to use gender-neutral language in their slides? Source: "Use of 'they' (and their/them) as a singular pronoun is now widely accepted as a neutral alternative, and better than the awkward 'he or she' construction because it also includes genderqueer and non-binary," the document explains." • Thank you for addressing my comment. Date, length, hook, age, and everything else checks out here. Aoba47 (talk) 16:52, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
What an incredibly unnoteworthy and pointless DYK. Laughable really. Keyakakushi46 (talk) 17:29, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
