Matthias Rauchmiller[edit]

Matthias Rauchmiller's 1681 clay model for a statue of St John of Nepomuk. Most later representations of the saint echo this work, with its biretta, crucifix, and halo of five stars.

  • Reviewed Henricia oculata. I also did work to improve the DYK-nominated article Mining in Sweden. HouseOfChange (talk) 13:43, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
  • This interesting article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline and either hook could be used. The image was taken by the article creator and suitably licensed but the caption is too long. The article is neutral, and I detected no copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:34, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you, Cwmhiraeth. I have substituted this slightly shorter caption: "Matthias Rauchmiller's clay model (1681) for the statue of St John of Nepomuk. Most later representations of this saint echo this work, with its biretta, crucifix, and halo of five stars." HouseOfChange (talk) 14:36, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
