Tom Cannon was the ring name for a British professional wrestler and World Heavyweight Champion who was active in the late 19th century and early portion of the 20th century, but whose actual name is lost to history.[3]

He wrestled in Cornish wrestling matches in the late 19th and early 20th centuries,[4][5] including winning a tournament, beating 22 other competitors.[6] He also wrestled in mixed style challenge matches including Cornish wrestling in the UK,[7] the US[8] and Australia.[9][6]
