Munish Bharwaj

Munish Bharwaj is an Indian Director, writer, producer , theater actor-director and a well known teacher who was born on 11th December 1968. he was born in Delhi,India. Munish had been associated with theatre right from his college days and worked in theater group Chingari in delhi.[1] While on the theatre stage he immerses himself in the depth of candid expressions, behind the grueling directorial seat, he engulfs in loads of creative challenges which he artfully navigates to make poignant cinema.[2] Later he moved to Pune to study flim direction in Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) . Munish′s debut film as a director was Moh Maya Money(2013), a saga of two lives trapped by the greed of money.[3]

Personal Life

Munish Bharwaj was born in Delhi,India. Munish′s father Vikram Bharwaj was a businessman and his mother Kusum Bharwaj is a retired school teacher. His father died in 1983. He has one elder brother Ranjit Bharwaj. He was also a businessman and died in 2005. Munish had done his schooling from Mount Saint Mary′s School in Delhi itself. After doing his graduation in Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com) in year 1987, he did three year degree course from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) ,Delhi University. In 1991, he decided to do his post graduation in film direction and screenwriting from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Munish is a divorcee and has no children. Munish loves to travel other then writing and directing films.
