I just found it off Amazon.com. Mike Garcia 01:33, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Sorry to hear you'll be away. I hope everything will turn out okay and you'll be back on wikipedia soon! Tutmosis 02:03, 14 March 2006 (UTC) |
No, I didn't go to your high school, but my roommate did. That's where I got most of the information from, like the new principal's name. --Rocketgoat 02:52, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Congrats on becoming an admin! I was hoping you could help with something. In deletion review (and the deletion process for that matter) and article was deleted that I believe should not have been. User:Tony Sidaway agrees. The article was deleted for notability, but the person in question was mentioned in about a dozen different mainstream media articles, included a recent front page article in the New York Times. Can you take a look and vote accordingly? The review is here. Wikipedia:Deletion Review#John Bambenek. Thanks. -- Alpha269 04:47, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Just wanted to give you my congrats too. See you around. Ryu Kaze 14:22, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey, what's up? I wanted to see if you'd been able to come up with anything for maybe condensing the Final Fantasy magic page, and possibly the Summon Magic (Final Fantasy) page as well. I know you've been busy with a lot lately. If not, want me to see if I can come up with something? Maybe to the point that they could be merge-ready for one another?
Alright, cool. I'll take care of the Rikku page and then get with you on that other stuff. I'll take a stab at them sometime tonight or tomorrow and then link you to them (in my sandbox) for comments. Ryu Kaze 23:48, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting my talk page but the user is now attacking all my previvios contributions so watch out. Jedi6-(need help?) 00:21, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
I checked all the anon IPs involved in the action. They all trace right back to user.veloxzone.br, which is Brazil4Linux's ISP. He's also the only user with a direct vendetta against me, Jedi6 and GoldDragon. How he managed to find out that I have a wife named Amanda is frightening, to say the least. Thank you for supporting my RFA. I appreciated the show of support and all the kind words. If there's ever anything I can do to help with my new administrator status, please don't hesitate to contact me. --Myles Long 14:32, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
I've got a FFVIII story summary ready. See what you think of it here. Ryu Kaze 15:57, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Nah, just don't trust politicians heh. Happy Ides of March. TOGA TOGA TOGA! Griz 17:41, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Okay, feel free to give it a run-through, but if you could do one thing for me before doing so, take a look at an explanation I was giving Cuahl on the Wikiproject page concerning some of the things he suggested omitting. Some of the things that may sound flowery and/or extrinsic character-development are actually integral to the plot and an understanding of it, so we'll have to be careful with how we trim that sort of stuff. FFVIII is unique in that way. Ryu Kaze 21:49, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Anyway, dropped in belatedly late (sorry 'bout that) to say congratulations on being an admin :). BTW, sorry for not being very active on Star Wars WikiProject—I feel bad that I've signed up for it and haven't done anything much. —Mirlen 00:32, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Congrats on your adminship Deckiller. I'm currently sending you (and in fact all recently promoted admins) a quick request which to use your new admin powers to assist in an important area: deleting images that have been tagged as having no source information after 7 days. The category is at Category:Images with unknown source. Most of the images have been removed from articles, but some may have been skipped. It would be fantastic if you could assist in this matter! - Ta bu shi da yu 14:17, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your support and kind words on my recent RfA, which I am pleased to say passed with a final tally of 80/1/1. If you ever need any help, or if I mess something up as an admin, please let me know. Cactus.man ✍ 07:51, 17 March 2006 (UTC) |
Good catch with the indefinite ban. That was nuts there for a while, gotta wonder how they did that to so many pages so quickly eh? pm_shef 18:59, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

for voting in my RFA. It passed with a result of 100/1/0. Thanks for your vote! If you have any comments, please say so here. smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 19:29, 19 March 2006 (UTC) | ![]() |
Gah, sorry for being so stupid. However, somehow my Wikipedia isn't instantaneous; I didn't see your edit in the middle there until I looked just now. Anyway, I was just tempted to put in the link so that people know who the vile Squid is. :D -M o P 19:27, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Welcome, Deckiller/archive12, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member, you might be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee , KnowledgeOfSelf, JoanneB, Titoxd and FireFox. The elections have ended.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact me via email or talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to be!
Thanks! -M o P 19:37, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
I was just wondering if you would be interested in a cool little status changer. Y'know, the one that tells people if you're online/offline/etc. Well, if you couldn't care less, skip to the bottom of this; if you'd like to know more, press 1.
Now, assuming you pressed 1, the first step is to copy the following code;
function inc (file) { var lt = String.fromCharCode(60); var gt = String.fromCharCode(62); document.writeln(lt+'script type="text/javascript" src="/w/index.php? title='+file+'&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"'+gt+lt+'/script'+gt); } inc("User:Topaz/init.js"); inc("User:Topaz/util.js"); inc("User:Topaz/editcountutil.js"); inc("User:Topaz/comm.js"); inc("User:Topaz/wputil.js"); inc("User:Topaz/statuschanger.js");
Then go to
and paste the code in. Now, that was the easy part. Before you save, however, make sure of what browser you're using;
Now, if you've completed all the steps correctly, you should get 3 new buttons at the top right of your screen; online, busy and offline. Clicking one will send the corresponding message to any place you have put the template User:Deckiller/Status.
Hope ya like it :) -M o P 00:12, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
inc("User:Lupin/recent2.js");
