Nicholas Hoult (born 1989) is an English actor. He has performed in supporting roles in big-budget mainstream productions and starring roles in independent projects in the American and British film industries. He made his screen debut at the age of six in the 1996 film Intimate Relations . In 2002 he portrayed Marcus Brewer in the comedy-drama film About a Boy , for which he was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer . American spacecraft in flight. On January 28, 1986, the
Space Shuttle Challenger broke apart 73 seconds into the flight of
STS-51-L , the 25th mission of
NASA 's
Space Shuttle program . All seven crew members aboard were killed. The spacecraft disintegrated 46,000 feet (14 km) above the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of
Cape Canaveral , Florida, at 11:39 am
