Mick Bolton[edit]

Hi! I turned Mick Bolton (guitarist) back into a redirect to UFO (band) because it looks like he's mainly known for that band. @Zappafripp: pointed out that the keyboardist for Mott the Hoople and Dexys Midnight Runners is actually a separate person! Deletion discussion about Sal DiTroia[edit]

Hello Anavatar, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sal DiTroia, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sal DiTroia.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with ((Re|SailingInABathTub)). And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Kevin Michael Richardson into Kevin Michael Richardson filmography. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted ((copied)) template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:36, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Anavatar! (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. Duke Fakir[edit]

There are multiple sources that focus on him specifically, meaning he meets the notability guidelines prima facie. If you think the content of the article should be removed and redirected to the band, please use the articles for deletion process. ... discospinster talk 18:21, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi Anavatar! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Quill (band) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. DoctorMatt (talk) 20:59, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pete Willis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gogmagog. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:03, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Danny Sapko moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Danny Sapko, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disambiguation link notification for March 20[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mario Cipollina, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page San Rafael.

A Little Loving moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to A Little Loving. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 06:39, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
