Proposed deletion of Computer knowledge[edit]

The article Computer knowledge has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:OR essay which appears to be nothing more than a vehicle for an external "see also" link which has been removed.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((dated prod)) notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing ((dated prod)) will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.    7   talk Δ |   01:07, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

Hi, and apologies for bombarding you with these messages. While everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia (and I do hope you will continue to contribute) there are a few policies you should be aware of. Can you take a moment to read the links that I sent above, especially the one on your first article. Also, you should be aware of the original research policy. After reading those feel free to ask me any questions right here on this page.

You may also find the article Geek might have some of the content you are discussing. Feel free to add to that article, making sure to stay within the guidelines I mentioned above and cite your reliable sources. Thanks.    7   talk Δ |   01:46, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See this page for my response if that is not satisfactory please delete my first article.

July 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, one or more of the links that you added to the page Personal computer hardware does not comply with Wikipedia's guidelines concerning external link spamming and has been removed. In general, external links should be kept to a minimum, except for a link to an official page of the article's subject— that is not prohibited by restrictions on linking. Wikipedia is not a collection of external links, nor should it be used for advertising or self-promotion, since doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. In addition, Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, so adding external links will not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page first, before reinserting it and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This link has been removed as well. Please read WP:EL.    7   talk Δ |   01:54, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
