Mind Strata AfD

I agree with you by the way. My vote stays at Delete until they can provide independent press showing the group has some notability. Best, Gwernol 17:58, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

No worries, appreciate the message. Cheers. --Auger Martel 17:59, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree with you that thy haven't reachd notability yet. I will be interesting to see if thyey get some real press coverage and are back in 6 months. Best, Gwernol 12:58, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Much appreciated. Thanks.--Auger Martel 13:06, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Les Gentlemen

Not a problem. I think every plural noun in the English language has been part of a non-notable band name in the form "The Xes". Anyway, I have no doubt you were acting in good faith -- I wish I could expand the article, but Martinican popular music isn't exactly well-documented. Tuf-Kat 15:54, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your understanding. It is greatly appreciated. My apologies once more. Cheers.--Auger Martel 15:57, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Family Groove Company

Please review my comments regarding the AfD for Family Groove Company at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Family Groove Company and see if you still wish to have this article deleted. Thank you, Dismas|(talk) 02:27, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Removing Fabio Grosso Video Section

Just wondering but this really matter. The video isn't actully being hosted by wikipedia. As it is not being hosted b Wikipedia, surely linking to the video is within the law ? Niall123 15:50, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

I was referring to the actual link itself, rather than being hosted on wikipedia. If you want to include another version of it, I have no problem with it. For what it's worth, I think it would be better off in the External Links section rather than a whole section for itself.--Auger Martel 16:25, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Fair enough. I created the Video section as an addition to External Links. Just thought that having a video section on its own would be more apt. What the story though with you tube videos which are esentially TV rips of FIFA copyright material ? Is posting links here to them ok ? Niall123 17:32, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Posting links to them are fine I think although YouTube will sometimes remove the content due to copyright breaches. What happened is that when I clicked on the older video, it came with a message that the video breached the copyright on the site. Unless some other people object, I think it is fine for a new link to the video.--Auger Martel 18:07, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Emmalina

Thanks for even reading my final comments, it is an issue that needs (or alreadly may have been, I'm sometimes out of the loop) to be addressed. I'm not entirely sure of where you would post, but I recommend trying, Wikipedia:Village pump. Any one of the cats could work, but I think policy would be the best. Please review this newest AfD, your opinion would be appreciated. PT (s-s-s-s) 00:42, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your input!

Thank you for taking part in my RfA. The RfA was not successful, mostly because I did a pretty bad job of presenting myself. I'll run again sometime in the next few months, in the hopes that some will reconsider.

In the meantime, one of the projects I'm working on is A Wikimedia Administrator's Handbook. This is a wikibook how-to guide intended to help new administrators learn the ropes, as well as to simply "demystify" what adminship entails. If you are an administrator, please help out with writing it, particularly on the technical aspects of the tools. Both administrators and non-administrators are welcome to help link in and sort all of the various policies regarding the use of these tools on wikipedia in particular (as well as other projects: for example, I have almost no experience with how things work on wiktionary or wikinews). Users who are neither familiar with policy or the sysop tools could be of great help by asking questions about anything that's unclear. The goal is to get everything together in one place, with a narrative form designed to anticipate the reader's next question.

A second project, related but not entailed, is a book on wikimedia in general, with a history of how various policies evolved over time, interesting trivia (e.g., what the heck was "wikimoney" about?), and a history of how the wikimedia foundation itself came about and the larger issues that occurred during its history (such as the infamous "Spanish Fork").

Again, thanks for your input on the RfA, and thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide for the handbook. --SB_Johnny|talk|books 14:41, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Fighting Fantasy stuff

Hi Auger,

Thanks for the FF contributions. Just one small thing — most of the "dead links" for cover images are not dead, just put there awaiting someone putting a cover image up (or to encourage someone to do so:-). If you can find images for Black Vein Prophecy and others that would be wonderful. I must get round to contacting the webmasters of some of the fan sites to see if they can provide this material.

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about correcting spelling on the talk pages if I were you. Life's too short. :-) —WebDrake 19:59, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

It's raining thanks spam!
