April 2009[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Yintaɳ  15:13, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Engineers Of India. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing. Jwkpiano1 (talk) 15:25, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Engineers Of India[edit]

I have nominated Engineers Of India, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Engineers Of India. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. —Zener 15:34, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles, as you did to Engineers Of India, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Yintaɳ  15:47, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(I'm not Yintan, sorry.) The exact reason is this: Wikipedia is not a webhost to host articles about every other newspaper, website or organization that is launched. Subject has to be notable to be included in this encyclopedia, according to policy. The newspaper EOI has apparently not received any coverage in reliable, secondary sources. Maybe you can write about EOI in the Shivaji University article instead of a full article. To save the Engineers Of India article from deletion you must add unaffiliated sources like coverage by news websites/local newspapers to the article. —Zener 16:20, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Engineersofindia.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Engineersofindia.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:16, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
