Please don't revert changes to the Srivijaya page when I've asked for discussion on that article's talk page. Unilateral changes without discussion do not do a lot to advance Wikipedia. I don't want to get into an edit war so I'll hold off making further changes until I hear from you. Alan 15:53, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Hello _earth. I stumbled upon this tag and I am wondering if it is valid for Malaysian copyright laws. – Matthew A. Lockhart (talk) 12:05, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
I came across your comment in the edit summary concerning Francis Light; did you send a notice to the webmaster saying they had to make it GFDL or else? I had to personally do it today, so I'd just thought I'd tell you if you come any such thing in the future, assert the GFDL's authority, since plagiarism is one thing, but claiming a copyright to GFDL material isn't.
Oh, I've taken the liberty to remove three notices from your talk page placed there by Orphanbot, and deleted the respective images, because it said "temporary, for help desk use". Elle vécut heureuse à jamais (Be eudaimonic!) 08:56, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

If you get a chance would you mind having look at this article linked to the Battle of Malaya- I've just nominated the article for WP:FAC and would appreciate your comments?
Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 33% for major edits and 33% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 150 minor edits outside the Wikipedia, User, Image, and all Talk namespaces.)
This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear inpolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 04:15, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Can you please cite your source for the statement on Malaysian citizenship that people born in Penang are citizens regardless of the nationality of their parents? This seems very unlikely, since the citizenship rules apply to the whole of Malaysia without exception. Andrew Yong 13:45, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

Pls don delete our Sabah categories. We started one month ago and we are still putting efforts into it, by making more articles. Our online resources in Sabah are very limited. Please have mercy on our hardwork!!
About the Sabah musuem article, I have taken from my uncle website. His website http://www.borneo-online.com.my is running down. Before his borneo online homepage wiped out in near future, some of his resources can be contributed to Wikipedia.
Many of my photos being deleted. I am very confused, cos many of the photos do not have a copyright of law. And what is the reason for not making use of them??

Hafiz,
one look at your user page confirmed my suspicions about you. Not that I needed the additional confirmation. Your antics at the Earth Day page were confirmation enough. Kamu adalah linkungan fanatik yang pembohong tentang sensorsip.
Sincerely, Jeff Bargholz. You can call me Tuan.

Hi there. I've been trying to take out some of the more POV edits that Bargholz has been adding to Earth Day, but of course he's trying to revert them so I don't know if I'll have any luck in doing so.
While you and I have very different political opinions, I think I can tell that we are both committed to truth on Wikipedia, and I'd like to thank you for standing up to agenda-driven editors who think that they are some kind of 'gods' who may use wikipedia as their personal propaganda machine. I have faith that you will continue to improve articles by removing POV. Anyway, in short, thank you and don't get discouraged.
Mister Mister 00:41, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Where are these "sources" speaking of North Vietnam alliances that Bargholz keeps spouting off about? I looked under the Weasel Words paragraph, and found only one person who could be identified with Soviet communism. Could you please enlighten me a bit as to whether or not he has actually cited anything?
Mister Mister 22:42, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Bargholz has again engaged in personal attacks on the talk page, calling both of us "book-burners", labelling me as a "sophomoric leftist", and other things. I'd rather not go through and pick through the paragraphs to find his insults, so if you could check out the talk page yourself, that would be a big help.
Which leads to my question. I am really beginning to think that this needs to be taken to the arbitration committee, because I doubt that anything else is going to resolve this. He's engaging in repeated personal attacks, deliberately inserting POV into articles, using political slurs as a way of silencing opposition and disrupting the editing process. I don't have much experience with that though as I've only been on Wikipedia for about a month or two, so if you could help me out with this I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Mister Mister 03:17, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
hey, I was browsing the wikipedia's sci ref desk and [Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Science#Global_Heating I saw this]. To be exact, its about ice and latent heat. It reminds me of my physics. User:Peter Grey asks "once most of the Earth's ice has melted, we should expect the temperature to increase at a faster rate?". Given what for I know from my undergrad physics, I'd say at least the temperature of the water from the melted ice. But what about of global temperature? Should we expect temperature to increase at a faster rate too? __earth (Talk) 15:36, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi Hafiz, my Prehistoric Malaysia is done, lots to improve yet. I am still a newbie, barely able to play some simple editings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by L joo (talk • contribs)
"Parameswara (1344-1424) was a Malay Srivijayan prince that escaped Majapahit's capture of Palembang and later established the Sultanate of Malacca in 1402. Sejarah Melayu alleges that Parameswara was a descendant of Alexander the Great of Macedonia. He was a Hindu before his marriage with Malik ul Salih of Pasai's princess that led to his conversion into Islam. Upon conversion, he styled himself as Sultan Megat Iskandar Shah."
Hi Hafiz, I noticed you edited this part, thanks. But then I noticed you wrote "...later established the Sultanate of Malacca in 1402.". This part I afraid is incorrect because Parameswara was not yet a Sultan within 1402-1413, at that time Malacca was not a Sultanate but a traditional Srivijayan-styled Kingdom, am I right? (L joo 14:42, 13 May 2006 (UTC)).
Hi Hafiz, thanks for reminding. I will try to source for a good map and replace asap. Btw, feel free to contribute in ancient Malaysia history. (L joo 05:25, 17 May 2006 (UTC)).
From my talk - How it is possible to vandalise a page 10.129 times? It is approximate number, in the case normal vandalism I would increase the number by 1, but for just for changing the number in the box or similar edits I usually increase it by a fraction. The reason for this is I use to just revert number changes, but occasionally end up in a edit rv loop, wasting my time, minor increases in the number seemed to stop this.
Why would you want to "vandal it 0.871 time"? Have I stepped on your toes or annoyed you some how? Or is it just a case of you would like to see a whole number? --blue520 07:06, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
