Hey thanks for creating the article 1939 City of San Francisco Derailment; that was a great motivator to get me off my duff and start contributing again. Any objections to nominating it for a WP:DYK? Dave (talk) 15:59, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
I'm getting familiar to the Wiki format so I don't know if this the way to respond in a technical sense, but yeah. Go for it! Exiasprip (talk) 06:26, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. I also believe I have the coordinates for it, but I'm not sure how to add them. On Google Earth, it's 40*43'22.99"N and 116*01'07.62"W. Don't know if that helps or even if it's the exact location. I used an old aerial photograph to track it. Exiasprip (talk) 19:49, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
For me, even if we mark it wrong, I feel like someone will eventually come along and correct it. Wikimapia is saying 40°43'30"N 116°2'30"W. That can also be a temporary reference for now. But anyway, I'll leave that up. You have my grace to do whatever you need to this page. Exiasprip (talk) 02:42, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
We might've just cracked the case! Exiasprip (talk) 17:14, 25 June 2017 (UTC):

Hello. At the above article, you added two entries (March 4, 1853 and May 9, 1853) which don't have references. Please add references. The entries will be removed in 48 hours if still unreferenced. Thanks for your additions. Please don't be offended. References must be supplied. Akld guy (talk) 03:50, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

On 4 July 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 1939 City of San Francisco derailment, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that despite years of investigation and a manhunt, the 1939 City of San Francisco derailment remains unsolved? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, ), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello, Exiasprip
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username EchidnaLives, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Emily Willis, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
((proposed deletion/dated...))
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with ((Re|EchidnaLives))
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~

Hello Exiasprip,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Derek Savage (movie director) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
