Happy editing! Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 16:20, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
To be fair, i did undo a couple of things you did ~ one had slightly degraded the English, the other had duplicated a link unnecessarily. On the other hand, i also formatted the reference you had added ~ though i should point out that i'm not sure the IMDB is considered a reliable source, as it is user generated, i believe. You mentioned in one of your edit summaries that you couldn't find a way to cite, i urge you to ask at the Teahouse (link above) or here using the ((Help me)) template here on your talk page. Other than that, i'll just reiterate the Welcome i've put above; hope you stick around! Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 16:26, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
Hello, I'm 3mi1y. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Tile-based game—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. ℰmi1y⧼T·C⧽ 01:06, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
Hello GoodWritingSolutions! Your additions to Draft:Excel High School (Minnesota) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page.
Violating copyrights is not a good writing solution. Thank you. —Alalch E. 14:40, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
Hello GoodWritingSolutions. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Richard C. Schwartz, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:GoodWritingSolutions. The template ((Paid)) can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: ((paid|user=GoodWritingSolutions|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName))
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. // Timothy :: talk 02:54, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
Hello, GoodWritingSolutions!
Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Richard C. Schwartz, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. // Timothy :: talk 02:53, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
The article Excel High School (Minnesota) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
fails WP:NCORP. There are no reliable independent sources for this school, which was self promoted by its author from AfC. 69.92.163.38 (talk) 23:14, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated))
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing ((proposed deletion/dated))
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Excel High School (Minnesota) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
