When editing templates/infoboxes[edit]

Hey, Hurricaneinformation! I noticed your edits on Hurricane Patricia and just wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. However, I saw that this edit accidentally broke the template. Templates like the hurricane infobox have specific parameter names that generally shouldn't be changed, as it causes the template to break and not display the information anymore. In this case, changing "fatalities" to "deaths" breaks the template because "fatalities" is the specific parameter name to be used. If any of this was unclear, feel free to respond here and ping me using ((ping|CodingCyclone)) (without the nowiki tags) or leave a message on User talk:CodingCyclone my talk page. I hope this helps, and happy editing! codingcyclone please ping/my wreckage 01:34, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

January 2022[edit]

Information icon I know you created the page Hurricane Isaac, but please don't remove the redirect and replace it with "I didn't do anything, all I was trying to do is get disruptive editing out of here." Thanks. Severestorm28 00:54, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Hurricane Ivan's TCR explicitly states it peaked at 145 knots. Hurricane Isaac 2018[edit]

Hi Hurricaneinformation. Regarding this article, in August 2020 there was a consensus to merge the hurricane article into the list of atlantic hurricanes. See Talk:Hurricane Isaac (2018). If you disagree with that discussion, please start a new section at Talk:2018 Atlantic hurricane season. You can view what the article looked like before that merge here. Additionally, please do not leave messages such as your most recent edit in Mainspace, please instead use Talk pages. GFOLEY FOUR!— 00:56, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ishowspeed[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ishowspeed requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://youtube.fandom.com/wiki/IShowSpeed. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Advice about "Hurricane Isaac" article[edit]

Hello, Hurricaneinformation. I understand that you have been trying to expand Hurricane Isaac 2018 from a redirect to an article. But lot of people have reversed you, and they are correct. You need to stop doing this. You can't create the article just by expanding the redirect, for the reason explained to you above by Gfoley4: There was a consensus, a couple of years ago, to merge Hurricane Isaac into the general article [[2018 Atlantic hurricane season). That is another way of saying, there was a consensus not to have a full article about it. Consensus rules here.

What you need to do is go to the talk page Talk:2018 Atlantic hurricane season, say that you want to expand this into a full article, and see if you can get agreement to do it. In the meantime, DO NOT keep expanding it. Since that goes against a previous consensus, it could get you blocked from editing if you keep doing it.

Here is what I advise: Create your proposed article as a draft, called Draft:Hurricane Isaac 2018. There it will be safe, you can preserve it and work on it, and you can point people to it so that they know exactly what you are talking about. If it gets accepted as an article, an administrator can move it to the main encyclopedia. -- MelanieN (talk) 04:10, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Weather 2022 C/B Class Drive[edit]

Nomination of Hurricane Isaac 2021 for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Hurricane Isaac 2021 is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hurricane Isaac 2021 until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Akbermamps 08:22, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey![edit]

I would recommend stopping recreating articles like Isaac's 2018 article without discussing it. It doesn't seem like anything will change. If you want to actually get somewhere with it, your best chance is to discuss it with other editors and explain your reasoning. Thanks! Skarmory (talk • contribs) 16:30, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Hurricane Isaac 2021[edit]

Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Hurricane Isaac 2021. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

January 2022[edit]

This is a WARNING to stop your disruptive editing - and to stop trying to create an article about Hurricane Isaac 2018. Your latest attempt, Hurricane Isaac 2021, was fraudulent. It was a hoax. It was titled 2021 but it was about the hurricane of 2018. Creating phony articles is a serious violation of Wikipedia rules, and if you do it again you will be permanently blocked from editing. -- MelanieN (talk) 18:15, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I accidentally created a hoax what was suppose to be 2018 but I accidentally was thinking was 2021. The article was suppose to be 2018 instead of 2021. I'm sorry for creating that hoax, and I deleted the article because I knew I got the title wrong and I'm sorry for not making notable article relevant to the community, and I hope you give me another chance as I should have not mistakenly title that article Hurricane Isaac 2018 instead of 2021. I hope you give me another chance. And my intention was to make real Wikipedia articles. Sorry for not making any of them notable. Hurricaneinfomation. (talk) 20:25, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
