Thanks for uploading File:Example of light skinned European woman.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
((di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>))
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 02:32, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
Most images found on the internet are copyright. Unless you find explicit notices that images are copyright free or released into the public domain then they cannot be uploaded onto Wikipedia. I wonder what evidence you have for suggesting that she is of Italian descent? DiDonato is the name of her former husband, and the one she has kept and uses professionally. The article Alexandria Basso has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the ((prod blp)) tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Nymf (talk) 18:07, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Romanians may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:22, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
Please stop attacking other editors. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. CBWeather, Talk, Seal meat for supper? 08:37, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Romanians. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Amortias (T)(C) 10:05, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Romanians shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
If you have issues about using the census, take it to the article's talk page. Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:22, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Your continued edit warring at Olive skin is more than a little tedious, and it's exacerbated by the fact that it's being added for unverified reasons (as one editor pointed out, "no indication that is their natural tone, half of essex looks like that at the weekend"), and by the complete lack of talk page discussion. The R1b1c in Sardinia is M18 a clade that is absent in all sub-Saharan and other African populations; It was only detected in Lebanon, Sardinia and Corsica; Its ancestral clade is V88 and V88 clades are most common in sub-saharan Africa but R1b-V88 itself is not sub-saharan; All ancestral R1b clades stem from eastern Eurasia and V88 ancestor is P25 (ancestor of both V88 and M269) which in turn derives from its ultimate ancestor is M207 (R1b/R1a); Thus before R1b (P25/V88) entered sub-Saharan Africa (from Eurasia/NearEast/North Africa) it must have split into subclade M18 and moved along the Mediterranean whee it is only presence today; As for the distribution of V88 clades in sub-Saharan Africa {Cruciani et al 2010}: "In summary, our data indicate a significant male contribution from northern Africa (and ultimately Asia) to the gene pool of the central Sahel. The trans-Saharan population movements resulting in this genetic pattern would seem to mirror the spread of the proto-Chadic languages, and most likely took place during the early mid Holocene, a period when giant paleolakes may have provided a corridor for human migrations across what is now the Sahara desert."
Cruciani et al 2010: http://www.nature.com/ejhg/journal/v18/n7/full/ejhg2009231a.html
note the complete absence of M18 in Africa (Table1.) Agilulf2007 (talk) 10:21, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
P25 mutated in V88 among Chadic Speakers of Cameroon, where the highest diversity of this haplogroup has been found.
In response; The Siwa Oasis is surly not a bottle-neck from a south to north migration; It is a remnant of the original north to south migration (Cruciani et al 2010) and the migration must have been north to south due to the ancestral clades (P25<M343) emerging from eastern Eurasia (Cruciani Asia); M18 is a clade from V88 of that migration either already in Lebanon (Near east) or from (now extinct) Siwa Oasis / Northern Egypt; But M18 has nothing to do with the V88 clades (neither derived, nor present) that later migrated from northern Africa into the Sahal and Chadic speaking areas; Therefor your assertions are false and M18 is never (not in any study) described as a sub-Saharan clade because it simply isnt and Cruciani explains the migration of R1b P25>V88 from Asia to northern Africa exactly; So either you quote a study that states M18 as a sub-Saharan clade or you remove the blatantly false info; Agilulf2007 (talk) 15:14, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
Its M18 and not V18; And where is the highest diversity of M18? It cant be in Africa because it doesnt exist in Africa, it can only be in the three places so far located and that is Sardinia, Corsica and Lebanon (most likely Lebanon);
What is fact (Cruciani et al 2010) is that R1b-V88 originates from a migration of P25<M343 from Asia towards northern Africa and from there into the Sahal region (Cruciani et al 2010) with M18 (one of its subcaldes) having a zero presence (i.e. complete absenty) in All of Africa; Thus most likely already originating in the Near East (Levantine/Lebanon) from V88 on route to northern Africa; Because if it would have originated in Africa (like subclade V69) it would also be having a presence in Africa (like subclade V69) but it doesnt;
PS: if you are so fixated on high diversity, why dont you make the obvious case than that R1b(U152) is Italian? The highest diversity of U152* is in Italy and also the highest diversity of U152>L2* is in Italy and of many other U152 subclades (Z192*) as well; Agilulf2007 (talk) 10:14, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

I really dont know what is going on in your head; But Boattini et al 2013 tested 82 Sradinians (samples) and none were of Haplogroup A; In Supplamentary Table_S1 you can see what haplogroup each Sardinian belonged; It is not (as you falsely assert) that Hg A was not tested and Sardinians were than given different Hg's (which is complete nonsense in itself), it is that NONE of the 884 Italians (incl. 82 Sardinians) tested in that study tested for Hg A; i.e. Hg A is none existing in Italy (incl. Sardinia) according to that data of 884 samples (Boattini et al 2013); Agilulf2007 (talk) 14:08, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited African admixture in Europe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Galicia. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Liz Read! Talk! 10:52, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
I am well aware that the samples in Achilli et al 2007 are from Murlo (86), Volterra (114) and Casentino valley (122); However they are groups together as a Total (322) in 'Table 1.' and in 'Table 2.' these 322 samples represent Tuscany; The highest value is Volterra with 2.63 (3/114) and the lowest value is Murlo with 1.16 (1/86); And thus the Tuscany average of 1.86 (6/322) is well represented to both for no value is 2x as higher or 2x as low; Also for such a format it is fitting to have the entire region instead of each village/town; As you also did with Romano et al 2003 by listing Sicily and not each of the 7 villages/towns tested; Agilulf2007 (talk) 19:32, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
lol There are 10.000 inhabitants in Casentino. That's 0.25% of Tuscan population. Try harder.
Your recent editing history at African admixture in Europe shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. . Fut.Perf. ☼ 12:45, 11 June 2015 (UTC)Sorry but, unless you have affordable sources, which I urged you to provide, for your claim regarding the local people, I can't do anything more but keep reverting your edits (not to allege bad faith, but, to put it mildly, some are quite dubious, like the one asserting French is a minority language among the Corsicans - if you've been to the island, you'll realize that, on the contrary, it's French to be the most widespread language and the indigenous one mostly spoken by the elderly and the over 50s). I hope this is not a sign for an edit war to come - in the meanwhile, you may want not to use the edit summary field to write some statements classifiable as opinions and rather back them with some references. Hello Joeyc91,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Castelluccio di Noto for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, [[(({article))}]].
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 13:31, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Thapsos Culture to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It has been listed at Pages Needing Translation, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article will be listed for deletion. Thank you. Wugapodes (talk) 18:57, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Polizzello archaeological site, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that was copied and pasted from another Wikimedia project, or was transwikied out to another project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. TJRC (talk) 00:45, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 17:09, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
HI, I see you're creating a number of articles, presumably copied from other-language Wikipediae, in languages other than English. Please stop doing that. The English Wikipedia is for English-language articles only.
You may not be aware of the Sandbox facility, but you can create a "sandbox" in your own User space, not in the general article space, and develop your new article, there, including translation into English. Then, when you've completed the article, you can move it to mainspace. Please see WP:SANDBOX for information on this; you should also have a link "Sandbox" on your Wikipedia menu, which will take you straight to you personal non-shared Sandbox (so there's no need to worry about another editor playing in the sandbox and reverting your edits of an article-in-progress).
There's nothing magic about the Sandbox name User:Joeyc91/sandbox, either, by the way. If you're working on multiple articles, feel free to use multiple sandboxes, e.g., User:Joeyc91/sandbox1, User:Joeyc91/sandbox2, etc. Help:Userspace draft has info on this and a simple clickable button to start.
Another alternative is to use the Draft namespace for drafts like you are producing, until ready for the mainspace. Please see WP:Drafts for information on that.
Whichever method you use, please stop creating non-English articles; create your article as discussed above, and move it into main space only when you've completed translating to English. Thanks. TJRC (talk) 17:22, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi, I reverted your edit about Italian height, because it seems different from a description in a given source. The document indeed is a survey done in Taranto, but the height data used on this doc is a national average height instead of the average in Taranto (page 10). However, if you know the source is wrong, or I misunderstand the explanation, we can discuss about it on this talk page. Thanks. JordanZaxxon (talk) 00:56, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Template:Average height around the world without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ping me with ((u|Jim1138)) and sign "~~~~" or message me on my talk page. 08:40, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, Joeyc91. :) It was pointed out to me on my talk page that you have added content to Polada Culture in Italian, and it looks like you have copied and translated material from it:Cultura di Polada.
It's okay to translate content from one language Wikipedia to another, but content on Wikipedia is not public domain. It is copyrighted, and using it requires that you meet the author's conditions. One condition is attribution.
Because of the wording of our Terms of Use, you can satisfy the attribution requirement by providing a link to the original article in the edit summary when you add the text. Wikipedia's best practices also require adding a note on the talk page, to help avoid confusion. Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia talks about the mandatory and the recommended practices.
I've fixed the issue in this case so it's all clear, but if you've translated or copied content into other articles, please go ahead and fix that attribution, and please remember to follow the process going forward.
Thanks! --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:17, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
Today you have copied without attribution content from Adriatic Veneti and Canegrate culture, and you still have not cleaned up your copyright problems from yesterday. I will not give you further warning. If you do not stop violating copyright and do not clean up the copyright violations you have already been advised of, I will block your account. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:12, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
As advised yesterday, you have been indefinitely blocked for creating copyright problems (your most recent today at List of ancient peoples of Italy with content you copied without attribution from another Wikipedia article).
As you have been advised, Wikipedia takes copyright seriously. I have attempted to work with you on this issue, but your failure to engage or to repair the copyright issues you are creating and your continued creation of copyright issues is disruptive.
If you wish your account to be unblocked, you will need to provide some assurance that you understand our copyright policies and are willing to comply, as well as to fix the problems you've already created.
Please be advised that if you edit under any other account, or logged out, any edits you add under that account may be deleted simply because you placed them. The block is not against your account, but against you as a person. See Wikipedia:Sock puppetry for more information.
If you have questions about this, I will be watching your talk page. Alternatively, you can place your note here with the text ((help me))
, and someone will come by to respond to you in short order. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:54, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
