Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Louis Van Gogh, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Zoom Video Communications have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:58, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but I've had to remove it again; it's still almost identical to the source. Here is a link to the bot report. Click on the iThenticate link to view the overlap. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 11:11, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Marcus East[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Marcus East, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Got deleted within a day? Should have given some time to fix the tone. Where do I contest again? the page is gone. Any ways of rescuing it?

Gabriel & Co. (Fine jewelry) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Gabriel & Co. (Fine jewelry), reads too much like an advert as written to remain published. It needs more accurate citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). As written the company was founded in NYC yet you quote a source which says it was founded by a different family in Smethwick in the West Midlands. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. MfD nomination of Draft:Chris Duffey[edit]

Draft:Chris Duffey, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Chris Duffey and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:Chris Duffey during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.
