I know that this article was only a stub, but why did you delete it?
Also, you left the page that referenced to it. If you type in RFQ, you get a redirect...
The context is that i created an article Radio Frequency Quadrupole and you deleted it. Why?? --Mjspe1 04:04, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

After reading Talk:Guineas (ethnic group) (which was deleted after the article page was deleted) and [1], I believe the reason I provided for speedy deletion--non-notable clan--was in error. The Guineas are apparently a racial group and not a family. Perhaps undeletion is in order. Sorry, and thanks. Pan Dan 18:45, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
I hope you have a copy of my article before you go deleting it without any need. It was created barely seconds ago and, trusting you can read English, you understood the 'MORE TO COME' quite clearly indicated at the bottom.
The least you could do is message me a copy of what I wrote, as I just spent five minutes typing that up only to have it deleted by some overexcited newly appointed administrator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Morgoth (talk • contribs)
Haha, sorry for my rather fierce reaction :P I'm just rather annoyed because I was *about* to save a copy of what I'd put when my computer crashed (it has an annoying habit of doing this recently). Thusly I thought I'd lost it, and I was quite pleased with my little paragraphs :P
Thanks for the help, I'll save what I said when it's back up and when I can put more detail in I'll remake a proper page.
Sorry again, please accept the warm hand of friendship :P
Since you are an admin now and you have to know everything about Wikipedia :) can you tell me whether there's a difference between "support" and "strong support" at voting pages? I always thought that these, along with the likes of "strong oppose", "weak oppose" etc. are just emotional reactions, emphasizing that an user has strong emotions about the subject, but now I'm not so sure... do these adjectives really affect the outcome of the voting? – Alensha without flower in signature :(talk 23:49, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Wicked_Lasers. Since you closed the deletion discussion for (or speedy-deleted) this article, your reasons on how or why you did so will be greatly appreciated in the above review. Sam Blanning(talk) 10:33, 12 October 2006 (UTC).
You deleted the article I wrote on BookWise citing it as Spam. However, I used the exact same format/level of information as the article on XanGo. So, if what I wrote is spam, then that article is too. FYI, I have no relation to BookWise. I just wrote the article because I knew of the orgranization of the company.
Thanks for the delete. ---J.S (t|c) 18:36, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Go ahead. It's not even mine. I originally took it from Adam1213 a long time ago after I saw others had also done the same, so I doubt they're will be any problems with using it. Have fun with it. =) Nishkid64 19:56, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks NCurse for your review and help! May I ask a favour? We are being pressed on the Commons, one user is threatening to delete all our 56 photos if we dont come up with some type of "permission" - beyond that which is given on their portal, AND beyond the fact that on their homepage they explicitly mentioned wikipedia as one of their "coordinated efforts" and it links directly to the 56 lap. What more do we need? Im at a loss of what to do. Four people have poured their hearts into this page, and about two dozen others have been very helpful and supportive as well (including yourself) and it would be a huge shame if all our beautiful photos, those which bring the page to life were deleted. I ask for guidance in two areas: A. different Tags - can you suggest a more restrictive tag and how to apply it? or B. A different place (could they be put up on the EnWiki instead?) We are not good with graphics or the whole tagging process, but certainly will move heaven and earth to see this article go through and be on the front page on 23 October. I have emailed and called the American Hungarian Federation on the phone (got an answering machine) and dont hold out hope for anything from them (other editors have done the same thing and find them less than responsive) Can you suggest some help? Istvan 21:42, 13 October 2006 (UTC) the actual complaint can be viewed on my (new) commons talk page here [3]
Thanks for the intervention! Its looking nice now, hmmm? BTW, do you see any area we can strengthen? Istvan 08:17, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
jaj de... is it really victory yet? We are on the right path, but its at the very last moment - the FA queue for october runs up to 22 Oct. (This is as close as we can get). Do you know how to put in the official request for FA frontpage for that date? Does it require a verdict from the FA director First? (I assume it does) If you could throw in your expertise and connections, now would be a very good time to move. We'll worry about polishing the last bits of the article and approaching the last holdout opposers, please help us keep our foot in the door for FA on 23 Oct.Istvan 18:23, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
WE'RE FA!!!!! pop the pezsgõ !!! Istvan 21:00, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Dear NCurse, it seems we may have a bump in the road to 23 Oct. Your advice please? On Raul654 talk page a user ALoan objected to 23 October because 56 was mentioned on wp:sa as well, and suggested 10 November instead for the FA (as you can guess I think that would be a bad idea). I have already posted a plea with Raul about it. Can you suggest any other course of action? And can anyone edit wp:sa ? (or is that frowned upon?).Istvan 00:38, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
NCurse - could you please help us defend the 56 article from vandalism this 23 October? Thanks! Istvan 23:43, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
I have added a new genetic syndrome to wiki. called idic15, please add this to your list(s) and maybe interesting to translate into hungarian? more info on www.idic15.org
Hi NCurse,
I'd like to point out that in the News section, I have always put the date of the news event itself, not the date it was put on the portal page. How is the admin thing going? I've been nominated on Wikinews...

The actual title of the federation is Cyprus Turkish Football Federation. The content was moved to there, and Northern Cyprus Football Federation was changed into a redirect. Please check the summaries and the actual page before reverting.
I guess you know I'm scared to death to FAC it, thinking it will be eternally vandalized to death once people are aware of it :-)) Tony asked me to give him a heads up, so that he could do one final run through on the prose, and he's just returning from two weeks off, with people lining up asking him to copy edit. And, I've got three trips pending, where I'll have only limited, dialup access. Maybe in two more weeks, assuming I get more courage up. I keep meaning to ask you: is there any way to make the current version as the CD 5 version, since Tony's copyedit improved it from the GA version? Did I ever tell you congrats on the adminship? By the way, do you have a chance to glance over the Tuberculosis FARC? The article has been referenced and reorganized, but I'm not sure if Treatment, Diagnosis, and Prognosis are comprehensive, and I'd sure like another set of eyes to look at it before voting Keep. NCurse, we have a problem! The 56 article appears to have attracted the attention of a notorious komcsi-stalinist revisionist troll!!! He's been bothering us all day, posting outrageous statements on the Talk page and also making ridiculous revisionist edits to the article itself. I've done a little "background research" on this szamár ember and he's definitely up to no good--most of his edits are stuff like, asserting that the Ukrainian Great Famine (Holodomor) was completely accidental (if not made up outright by the CIA), claiming that Stalin's purges killed hardly anyone (again, statistics supposedly invented by the CIA.) and that Stalin, Lenin, Rákosi etc. were great men. He's actually quite scary, he is obviously a hard-core Stalinist!!!
The problem is, his "contributions" can't be considered "vandalism" and therefore we can't get him banned. I looked at the page on WP:Vandalism and it specifically said that "NPOV violations" are NOT vandalism. But this Stalinist troll is making me sick and he's messing up our article!! What to DO??? K. Lastochka 02:08, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
OK, thanks. He seems to be gone for now, hope he's decided to leave us alone. :) K. Lastochka 14:00, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your support in my RfA, which passed on October 17, 2006 with a tally of 53/6/0. I am equally elated and humbled by my new capacity as administrator of Wikipedia, and I send my heartfelt thanks for your unflinching support. If you need me for anything, just ask me! I disagree with your deletion of my point about why St Louis is the Gateway to the West, and calling it nonsense and even vandalism. Please tell me why you think it was nonsense, and pray tell me why YOU think St Louis is the gateway to the West, if not due to the Missouri River and the Oregon Trail and wagon trails which started in St Louis. You need to tell me why, or I will revert back to what I wrote.
I removed Phenylalanine hydroxylase from the MEDGEN article rating as I didn't think it was a genetic disorder and had been put in by mistake... :-) --apers0n 14:36, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi, NCurse! Thank you for supporting me in my RfA, which succeeded with a final tally of 75/0/1! I hope I can live up to the standards of adminship, and I will try my best to make Wikipedia a better place. Feel free to send me a message if you need any assistance. :) |

NCurse, thanks for your support on my request for adminship.
The final outcome was a robust 62/1/1, so I am now an administrator. If you ever have any questions about my actions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I just noticed you recently were successful with an RfA; I was baffled that you hadn't had one already! I was almost positive you were an admin when you swung by my talk page and dropped off that link without knowing me at all. So I say, it's about time! Now there is somebody who's footsteps I can hopefully follow in my own time to come on Wikipedia. Good luck with everything! - ¡Kribbeh!Speak!\Contribs 21:42, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
My administratorship candidacy succeeded with a final tally of 81/0/1. I appreciate your support. Results are at Wikipedia:Recently_created_admins#Durova. Warmly, Durova 21:49, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Hello. I am writing to ask why you deleted the EUROPAGES article. The reason you gave; "v", is not really sufficient, and so a further explanation would be appreciated. --Daniel Lawrence 18:49, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
I started out with userboxes on my userpage, because the prospect of learning the language of html.... seems daunting. I even have a website that I do little things with, and a blog on Xanga, but little to no knowledge of html. that is my real problem..any tips? good websites for html dummies? In regards to your funny little "Mistletoe" "correction," I have to say I am very offended. I had always believed that Wikipedia was a source of truth and a very serious project. But people like you are treating it as a joke. I came to edit a page with the proper form of the belief in regards to mistle toe. I know it varies from region to region, but I believe that almost all states west of the Mississippi have held the tradition, and I changed it only to respect those people. I hope in the future, you will take the great project of Wikipedia much more seriously, and if you have any need to experiment with abusing your powers, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

there are three names for you to compare and see the truth.
You deleted an article 10 days ago (Sowerby and Luff) saying they were a nonentity. Not so. They host the flagship show The Big Squeeze on Britain's most popular independant podcast [4] "Comedy 365 is one of the most critically-acclaimed podcasts in the world. It's been ranked as high as 3 in the iTunes Top 100 in the USA, Canada and in the UK, and has obtained premier per-download sponsorship and mobile phone syndication". Georgina Sowerby and Brian Luff have their own articles, but they are better known as a duo than on their own. I have to request that you restore the article. I hope you made a backup.
