Status and Advice

As reviewing administrator, I changed this to proposed deletion, as it does not fall with the speedy criteria, but the article is unsustainable-- a new journal of this sort cannot possibly be notable. I have listed it for Proposed deletion--you are permitted to remove the tag, but if you do , it shall immediately be sent for a definitive community decision at WP:AFD, and , based on my experience, it will certainly be deleted & I do not see how that sort of publicity will do you any good. In general, subjects need references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. For journals, we usually want references showing sufficient prominence to be included in JCR. If you realize that the article cannot meet our standards, you can facilitate matters by placing at the top a line reading db-author I do wish you the best of success with the journal, but you can't put an article here in the hope to promote it; we're an encyclopedia DGG ( talk ) 21:33, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
