The E-mail you told me about this morning? Um, I don't like to say this, but I didn't receive it for some reason. Is it possible for you to send it again? Acalamari 01:40, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi Phaedriel, I got your e-mail (thanks!) but I'm very busy right now, so please understand if there is a delay in my reply, I'll get back to you when I can, OK? Love you, Kyoko 14:14, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Okay... If we were having a group of Wiki-Gods and Goddesses, then I guess she'd be a speed Goddess or somethin and you could be the Goddess of kindness and appreciation. :) Thanks a lot. aJCfreak yAk 16:18, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
First and foremost, Welcome Back! Glad to see you back and hope all is well.
Second, I am having a bit of trouble. I added "The town of Stephensburgh, Virginia was chartered and founded. Stephensburgh is known today as Stephens City." to September 1 only to have it deleted as "utterly unimportant" and later "nothing significant".
User:Calton (who I have stayed away from) is deleting entries that, yes, don't belong, but is also deleting entries like "2006 - Austria hands over Presidency of the European Union to Finland." as "nothing special". Nothing special? Austria hands over presidency of the EU to Finland....the EU, a major power in Europe, that is important and should be listed, as should the charter and founding of a town.
I understand that entries like "1982 - Quin!!, Video Game Player" should be deleted, but I think User:Calton is letting his point of view and his opinions cloud his judgement when he is deleting some of these entries. If you could please ask him to limit his POV and be more neutral on his edits, I would greatly appericate it. Thanks....NeutralHomer T:C 17:57, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Sorry to bug you, but User:Custerwest has not only surpassed the 3RR violation with a fourth, but deleted my report/request for admin help regarding the violation. I don't really know what to do about it now, but this user is really causing problems, and needs warnings from someone other than regular editors. Thanks for whatever you can do. Murderbike 00:37, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Thank you Sharon! That was very sweet, and completely unexpected; most of the time (it seems) when that "new messages" thing lights up it's another troll. You made my day! :) Antandrus (talk) 03:08, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
... for the block on user:Lciecat. Cheers!! Flyguy649talkcontribs 06:25, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
I see in the block log that you blocked a user for a bad username instating the autoblock, you then unblocked them to reblock them in attempt to get rid of an autoblock. Could you please notify, doing that does NOT rid of the autoblock, as it hits the underlying IP, and once it is there it can only be removed if the user states an "Unblock auto" request. If not, the Ip is kept blocked for 24 hours. Just to inform you. Francisco Tevez 12:11, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
I owe you those pictures of kittens I promised. Will (talk) 12:54, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Phaedriel, if you are not too busy WP:CSD is getting out of control.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 20:13, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Dear Phaedriel, I have a lot of obligations in real life that are mostly keeping me away from Wikipedia and personal e-mails, but I will try my best to get back to you by Monday, OK? Love, Kyoko 00:17, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Hopefully this will be an excellent month for you! Cheers, Mystytopia 00:49, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks so much for the comments, it'll be an amazing honor to have Yavapai people be featured on the IPoNA portal! As to Battle of Washita River, User:Custerwest is back from a 24-hour block, in full force if you feel like sticking it on your watchpage. Thanks a lot!!! Murderbike 17:44, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Flowers for you | ||
I've noticed that your mood meter has been stuck on "melancholic", so I am sending you these flowers to cheer you up. :) You are always so nice to everyone, you should share the happiness. -- DS1953 talk 17:56, 1 July 2007 (UTC) |
Sharon, do you know of a list editors who volounteer to help with the writing of articles? I have several sandboxes of articles I've created recently with text-dumps from several sources that need to be rewritten, but, for me, that is the most tedious part of creating an article. I now have 13 new articles that need text added, with several more to come. I keep finding new articles to create, and with watching my watchlist, I hardly have the energy to do the rewriting. Is there a place on Wikipedia to ask for this kind of help? Thanks. - BillCJ 01:45, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the day dedication - much appreciated! And that picture bears a striking similarity to my half-sister, Sarah :-). I think everyone appreciates you doing these things to keep the Wikipedia cheer going. Very best wishes, WjBscribe 11:44, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Hey Phaedriel, After all the recent discussion at the Cherokee article, I've been working on an article based on some of the materials I researched, which have been more or less frowned upon over there. The material, you remember, was on the contested concept of Indianness, or Indian (particularly Cherokee) identity. I have two questions, one which is specifically directed at you, and another which could be better asked elsewhere (at WP:IPNA?). My question for you is: do you feel like the results of our mediation precluded the usage of material which discuss non-federally recognized Indians from being the subject of articles (or sections of articles) in general, or merely in articles that are about federally recognized Indians?
The more general question is: in writing my drafts, I have gone from a title of "Cherokee identity" to "self-identified Cherokee" to "self-identified Indian" to "Native American identity" to "Indianness." Examples from other areas are Who is a Jew and Ivoirité, and "Indianness" seems to be the most commonly used word in many of the sources I've been looking at. From an Amero-centric view, the title "Indianness" seems like the preferred term, but "Native American identity" seems more politically correct and universally understandable. Does such an article already exist somewhere? Does such an article seem like a good idea? Is there a good title for such an article? Thanks, Smmurphy(Talk) 07:05, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi Phaedriel, I finally sent you a reply to your e-mail. I'm sorry about the delay, I'm just very busy right now. Love ya! Kyoko 17:54, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
I am pleased to inform you that your Happy Birthday nomination of User:Zeibura has passed. Here's how the user's day compares against the six happy birthday criteria:
1. Favorite people to embrace
2. Loving smiles and caring looks
3. That earthly gifts cannot replace
4. Fine and simple pleasures
5. Many years of laughter
6. All of life's best treasures
7. Overall: Pass!
Thank you for all your work in bringing this user's birthday to this status and for helping to improve the Wikipedia community.
Have a nice day! - not user zeibura, honestly! (Talk) 00:16, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
I am trying to redesign my userpage using (what I suppose) is an old design of yours that I borrowed from someone else. I was wondering if you could help me out with a few things:
Thanks. Awadewit | talk 01:12, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your participation in my recent RfB. Though it closed with 72% support (below the required 90%), I'm still quite pleased at the outpouring of support shown by a fair percentage of the community.
I'm currently tabulating and calculating all opposing and neutral arguments to help me better address the community's concerns about my abilities as a bureaucrat. If you'd like, you can follow my progress (and/or provide additional suggestions) at User:EVula/admin/RfB notes. Thanks again!
You get an extra thank you for your additional support through the RfB process... I feel that we need more editors that make everyone happy. I try to do so in my own little way, but I'll never be the absolute block of sheer awesome that you are. :) EVula // talk // ☯ // 04:18, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
This is to inform you that your 4th of July banner will be used as a basic construct to build a similar banner for myself. Kinda unsure of whether you'd mind, but since your contribs are free-licensed stuff.... :) And btw, I've just used your curvy design for the Christian music portal. Should I add a note to your userpage there too?! ;) aJCfreak yAk 11:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

He signs for Liverpool today, and will be unveiled at 3pm to the public. It looks like the protection runs through until the 6th of July. *TORRES TO GET NUMBER NINE SHIRT. Could the protection be removed prior to that as legally he is a Liverpool player at this point, that was the issue. Londo06 11:10, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Hello. I don't know about you, but I've never seen 4 (now 5) RfB's at the same time. I haven't been here much time, so I must ask you; is that normal? Eddie 03:17, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Hey Phaedriel, I noticed you put a request in for AWB.
When i went to add you, you're already listed as an admin :)
And if you weren't listed, you could have just added yourself ;)
Any problems with the software, just give me a shout!

I was thinking about mercilessly stealing your userpage code, but when I saw it, the top of my head kept unscrewing... So I was wondering... any chance of you designing a userpage for me? Pretty please? I would really be delighted.--NeoNerd 14:49, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
How did the deletion process work in this instance? This was a mass deletion (26 articles, obviously), a 2nd nomination, a lot of strongly made arguments from both sides, and a rather abrupt halt to the debate. Was this based solely on the vote (19-6, someone said)? Mandsford 16:01, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi Sharon. Hope a non-American wishing you wouldn't bother you. Just feel that anybody who went to great lengths to create this template deserves to be wished. :) Hope the day is fun and enjoyable. Enjoy! aJCfreak yAk 17:51, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
I notice you are an administrator, and an especially very nice person who cares about others. I do not know what to do and am worried about an administrator, Coelacan (talk · contribs), who is my adopter and hasn't posted in almost a month. I've tried to email with no response, this is all very uncharacteristic. I worry that something has happened. This is hoping that other administrators have a special way of communicating and can find out if something is wrong. I am so worried, and I fear something has happened. Can you help? Thanks if you can. I feel so helpless. Best wishes on this July 4th!. - Jeeny Talk 18:02, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Heh, heh, thanks for the strong support and the congratulations! No buttons yet; I'm just patiently waiting. :) The final tally, even though it's not been updated yet on the RfA, was 104/1/1; I'm amazed it made it to WP:100. As for your E-mail, I will get around to responding to that soon. :) Acalamari 18:49, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
