Hi @Cosmic6811:, thank you for your message and I am sorry if you do not like the colour I have chosen for the banner. I chose the colour of yellow because it is a light colour which means the dark text is clearly visible, and the colour makes the banner obvious to anyone who is about to edit the talk page - given that the message is targeted at vandals, its visibility is quite important. I have verified the suitability of the yellow colour against MOS:COLORS and MOS:CONTRAST as well as checking its WCAG compatibility on some of the websites these pages link to (it is compatible). If you are aware of another policy or guideline that prohibits the use of the yellow colour, or think there is another reason why I should change it, I would be glad to know about it.
