Your edits[edit]

The conflict of interest guideline strongly discourages people from editing articles that are close to them. You have violated this multiple times by editing the article about yourself and adding links to your own articles at Associated Content, which is little more than a glorified wiki, is not a reliable source for anything on Wikipedia, and therefore violates the external links guidelines. Your interviews are interesting - because of the status of Associated Content, they should not be posted to Wikipedia. There are three options for your article. If you want it gone, tag it with Template:Db-author or just tell me and I can delete it since you were the only significant contributor. It can be proposed for deletion where if no-one objects for five days, it will be quietly deleted. Or it can be exposed to a community discussion of its fate at articles for deletion. Either way, Wikipedia strongly disapproves of conflicts of interest. Graham87 05:57, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

William N. Stape[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article William N. Stape, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((dated prod)) notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add ((db-author)) to the top of William N. Stape.

As Graham87 noted above, if you don't want your article automatically deleted in five days, you can have your article publicly discussed by the community in a deletion discussion similar to these. That process has its pros and cons as you'll see from skimming some of the several dozen discussions on that page. --A. B. (talk) 03:29, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
