Okay, looking into the situation more closely, it looks like that AfD page shouldn't even exist; some sort of mistake done way back in 2009. However, just blanking a page doesn't actually fix the problem, so I nominated the AfD page for deletion. This should have no effect at all on the article itself. In general, don't blank pages that you think are malformed or should be deleted; there are other processes. Please let me know if you have any questions. On the other hand, you can't remove the "BLP unsourced" template, because it is correct that that article has no references. That template must remain until the article actually gets a reference. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:59, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry im still getting used to this and the codes etc, I'm trying to find our how to show the references because i have many but i dont seem to be managing. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xon268 (talkcontribs)

I checked through the article, and there are no references in it (even non-visible ones). Help:Citing sources has a good primer on how to add references. If you want, you can post one of the references you want to add here (don't try to format it, just provide the relevant info) and I'll show add it as an example. However, if you are actually Shawn Tellus, as you claimed at the AfD, you usually shouldn't edit your own article, anyway, because of our policy on conflicts of interest. Note, too, that if you've only played in the Maltese league, other editors are saying that doesn't qualify as a professional league by the standards usually used to assess football clubs. But the best place to discuss this, or any changes you want to make on the article, is at Talk:Shawn Tellus. Qwyrxian (talk) 21:51, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
