Which GNG guidelines do you believe this does not meet? He is the creator of notable public works of art, and the sources are independent and reliable (with the exception of the last, which appears to be connected to a family member). Cmprince (talk) 20:57, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I was about to take you to task for dismissing the second source from the NYC Parks Department, but I see now that the link was broken. I have repaired it; it comes from the department's Historical Signs Project.
