Has written several songs, but most of them were album tracks. Several were hit singles, but he was only a co-writer on all of them. Current sources are just chart histories for the artist and do not mention Orton's involvement at all. WP:BEFORE yielded only passing mentions of him signing with publishing companies, or directory listings verifying that he wrote these songs. Sources checked were Newspapers.com, Worldradiohistory.com, MusicRow, and Billboard. None gave even the most superficial coverage on Orton himself, to the point that I was 100% unable to even prove he's from Louisiana. For the utter lack of biographical information, I think this should be deleted. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 21:06, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
