Undeleted as a contested prod there nevertheless is no evidence of independant notability. I did Google, googlebooks and scholar checks and while there were a few passing mentions in books there was nothing in depth or specifically about the subject to show it passes N. Merge and redirect to Gummi Bears. I would have thought this was notable - and indeed, Google searches return plenty of hits sufficient to establish a common sense definition of notability.
