Keep 17 links to articles for individual players, so its a valid list article. Wikipedia:Categories, lists, and navigation templates clearly states not to delete a list because you prefer a category. Dream Focus 07:20, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comment There are a very large number of lists for FC players for various nations. Category:Lists of association football players by club list all the lists for each nation, and each national sub-category then has all the lists like this one, listing each team in their nation and its players. You also have lists of players for other games such as List of NHL players, List of esports players, List of chess players. Why would you list all the FC players on all the teams in other nations, but not list this one? Category:Lists of association football players by club in England has 139 things listed. Abstain - comments There are lots of these types of lists, yes WP:NLIST needs to be followed, if this is done correctly and this list cleaned up I have nothing against it. I don't really see how WP:NOTSTATS applies to this as a delete argument, this is a pretty specific article. A list of players for a club, I would not call that indiscriminate information.
