Video game genres are based upon their gameplay element, not narrative or thematic setting. While survival horror is a genre, this list mentions every game that has the slightest hint of horror to it, like puzzle-platformer Catherine, action role-playing game Darksiders, the first-person shooters Aliens: Colonial Marines, The Darkness and Wolfenstein: The New Order. • Keep. The article is a bit of a mess, but I can source it. I don't really like the idea of retitling it, as there's ample support for lists of horror games: [1] from GamesRadar, [2] from Kotaku, [3] from Rock Paper Shotgun, [4] from PC Gamer, and [5] from Game Informer. • Keep – Qualifies for an article per WP:NOTDUP relative to Category:Horror video games, and also qualifies as a functional navigational aid per WP:LISTPURP. Also keep per WP:HEY and the substantial improvements to the article performed by NinjaRobotPirate.
