promotional article for minor academic. Many adjectives of praise, but the major actual accomplishment is getting a grant. Formerly, but not presently, an associate professor at Columbia. • Keep. The criteria for having the article deleted, as per WP:FAILN, have not been satisfied. According to WP:NACADEMICS, since the subject of the article meets the criterion of 1. The person's research has made significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources, the page warrants inclusion on Wikipedia. And, as opposed to simply deleting the article, the expert-subject tag (simple include (())) can be added to the article in order to improve its quality. • Keep This recent article in The New Republic verifies that she was an innovator in developing the sociological concept of Historical trauma, a useful tool in understanding the problems faced by Native Americans such as the Sioux, as well as African Americans, Cambodians and the descendants of Holocaust survivors. (And yes, I know it should be "it was I" instead of "it was me", but it's perfectly understandable, and therefore grammatically correct in my somewhat oddball view of what "grammatically correct" means.)
