I previously created this article. Since she has not, to my knowledge, served at national cabinet level, nor served in a legislative body, I am unconvinced as to whether she passes WP:POLITICIAN. Uhooep (talk) 12:41, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment: I think her positions as Minister of State for Law and Gender and Minister of State for Education do pass WP:NPOL as national offices; I'm not 100% sure, however. Curbon7 (talk) 16:19, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - Minister of State in a national govt is definitely enough to pass WP:NPOL. --Soman (talk) 22:04, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep In Maldives, a state minister is not equivalent to a minister; state ministers are not members of the cabinet. However, it is an appointment dependent on Majlis approval and Azra also served as head of the Human Rights Commission, both of which can be classified as national offices, passing NPOL. - Keep We include ministers outside cabinet in NPOL, generally. Furius (talk) 12:15, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Head of a national Human Rights Commission and multiple very high ranking government roles seems notable to me (although the article could use expansion) NHCLS (talk) 15:03, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep definitely passes WP:NPOL. Er Naanu (talk) 12:51, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
