I have added sources to and expanded the article so that ((db-repost)) no longer applies. Cunard (talk) 19:48, 17 August 2014 (UTC)No consensus. Opinions are divided between allowing recreation and endorsing the deletion. It's not clear to me whether these are incompatible views. In my view, if somebody recreates the article now, it is likely to be speedily deleted unless it uses sources that were not discussed in previous discussions, in which case it may be made subject to a new deletion discussion. Matchworld Cup passes Wikipedia:Notability#General notability guideline, which requires "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject".Also I must say, we can easy find much more sources about Match World Cup in English-language (and local-language, of course) media around the world: The National, Business Emirates (UAE paper magazine), PanArmenian.net (Armenia was not represented by any teams), Khaleej Times, Sport360.com, GulfNews, Time Out Abu Dhabi (with detail description of participants), Cicero & Bernay (Dubai), Payvand News (Iran), UzReport (Uzbekistan), FilGoal (Egypt), UkrInform (Ukraine). Also Russian sports top-media had special tags for this tournament (Sovsport.ru) or detail live-translations (Sport-Express) Not every single winter tournament had such media coverage.
