The result was keep. Clear consensus to keep; this WP:SNOWBALL is rolling so going ahead and closing it early. Comment - is it possible he qualifies as a soldier? Fewer than 100 have received the Distinguished Service Cross (United Kingdom) since WWII. The rarity of that kind of honor increases notability. Keep. Ward is an important figure in the Falklands War, which itself is an important part of British military history. His role as a commander and leader was critical to the British success and he is essentially the only fighter pilot from that war who is well known.
