Comment Yılmaz Öztuna referred to this eyalethere. But I cannot find "eyalet" in other sources. In 1548, Suleiman I gave the title of "Emirulumera" to the Little Nogay chieftain Yusuf. In 1555, Yusuf was killed by lzmail, who was one of the brothers of Yusuf and conspired with Moscow. Takabeg (talk) 09:19, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Delete - I first had intention to vote for deletion because according to WP:RS: "If a topic has no reliable sources, Wikipedia should not have an article on it." Still, Yılmaz Öztuna is so reputable scholar that I tried to examine more sources about Yusuf and Izmail. Two of them are described in this source as leaders of nomad Nogai tribes influenced by Moscow, "small remnant of Golden Horde". I checked with Google Translate, and it says that eyalet means state on turkish language. This source treats Yusuf as prince. This source also repeatedly treats Yusuf as Nogai Prince, distinct from Ottoman Empire. This source even refer to Yusuf as Khan. This source explains in detail the situation between Yusuf, Ismail and Moscow, without mentioning the Ottoman Empire. Based on my research I conclude that Yılmaz Öztuna probably referred to some kind of Nogai state instead to an Ottoman province so I support deletion of this article.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 00:36, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
