The result was delete. As well as some concern that certain Keep (!)votes did not have a policy support basis, or made claims without providing the supporting evidence, even were all participation policy-backed, there still would be a clear consensus to delete on the basis of not meeting either NPROF or GNG.

• Remain, Dr Rahimi is a well-known person in his birth-country because he had an actual acceptable scientific character and was a very intelligent person whose success were inspiring a huge population of youths. as it has been mentioned in the article sources, He was conducting lot of researches alongside the co-researchers and published many scientific articles.   • Comment In terms of passing WP:NPROF and looking at https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/author/37666419000 and https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Razgar-Rahimi it seems he completed his PhD in 2018, has under 20 published papers, and under 20 citations in total, which is too low for notability as an academic, unless I'm missing something. -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:59, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

• Remain, I don't know If you can imagine how much it is difficult for a person come from a very under sanction country like Iran to a country like Canada to study and than become a researcher in young ages. If you could imagine only this point so you can understand that a young man like Dr. Razgar Rahimi had done a very very hard work. a clear example is 752 flight crash. Those poor people went to see their relatives and their old parents but they lost their life. by this example you can see how much its hard and dangerous to live in countries like Iran and how much it is hard to come from these countries to canada. Establishing that a person is notable enough for a Wikipedia article is not a question of verifying facts via his own self-published content about himself — it's a question of how much reliable source coverage has or hasn't been paid to him and his work by media outlets. So a person isn't notable just because he has a staff profile on the website of his own former employer, or a press release from his own former employer, or directory entries in academic directories — to be notable, external sources he is not affiliated with have to have deemed his work significant, such as by doing journalism about him and/or giving him a noteworthy award for his work. But the only genuine media source here is a short blurb about his death in a listicle that blurbs everybody who died in the same plane crash, which is not in and of itself enough.
