Riogate[edit]

Cannot find a WP:RS that refers to this event as "Riogate", although it did occur and a few news outlets picked up the story. Notable enough to merge to United States presidential election, 1992? At any rate it looks like someone coined a term here; it wouldn't make a useful redirect and should be deleted. Vrac (talk) 23:48, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - I couldn't even find any sources to verify that this event happened besides the one linked to from the article. Event was not historically significant and did not have widespread coverage, and thus fails WP:EVENT. I wouldn't leave a redirect, it's extremely unlikely anybody will be referring to the 1992 election as Riogate. Pishcal — ♣ 00:52, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
