The result was redirect to Mount Everest in 2016#Rescues and fatalities. Of note is that the nominator and initial delete !voter after the nomination later both revised their stances to redirect. The subject does not satisfy WP:GNG, WP:BIO. It's effectively a case of WP:BLP1E. Very few people on the list List of people who died climbing Mount Everest have a stand-alone page and nearly all of them were accomplished mountaineers. Subhash Pal does not have significant coverage in a single report. The news is often grouped with 3 deaths and 1 survival in their group and then the history of Everest climbing and statistics. • Redirect and Merge to Mount Everest in 2016#Indian expedition. The subject is not notable on his own but the event is notable and there is already an existing article covering the event. He was covered due to his event of death and 2 more climbers of his team died. There are enough reliable sources to expand about the circumstances and events surrounding their death. [1], [2] [3] There is an existing article, where this information can be preserved and the redirect can also be helpful as it is a plausible search term for people curious about this event.
