Can't see anything in the article or after a brief search to suggest that this passes WP:GNG. If Raju Risaldar existed, I'd go for a redirect.TheLongTone (talk) 15:51, 19 February 2018 (UTC) TheLongTone (talk) 15:51, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. Not averse to merge if there is an appropriate target (e.g. the person or alleged police assassinations in the area). Rename is probably also in order (e.g. killing of Raju Risaldar, or maybe Police encounter with Raju Risaldar (as it seems to be referred to as an encounter or fake encounter)). This police killing, of a fairly notable individual, meets GNG, some sourcing - [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8].Icewhiz (talk) 07:58, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep and rename Killing of Raju Risaldar. Searches on his name bring up SIGCOV from which article can be improved. I have added text sourced to a Times of India article, it begins an article upgrade. I oppose merging on the grounds that nuanced articles on the significant players in communal tensions in India are the best way to support and add depth to the articles on political and communal tensions to which they can be linked.
