I really don't think this guy's going to meet notability test - I've just spent about 45 minutes trying to salvage the article, clean up references (found quite a few duplicated refs), and so on - other than press releases about the film, the other sources all seem to be the self-published sources. Delete Like Pesky, I too have a had a crack at tidying the article up, and deemed it a futile errand. At the end of the day, the only source listed which is worth anything is the APN News report, and that reads so much like a press release that it might as well be self-published. Adding: The film might possibly meet the criteria for an article - but I'm cynically suspecting possible COI on this article, in any event - and it's quite likely that the news stories themselves are based mostly (or even wholly) on self-published press releases.
