That is why Bisanz I requested this and have set up a new wikiproject at Wikipedia:WikiProject TRANSWIKI. Dr. Blofeld White cat 13:56, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In spite of the anybot controversy about bots creating articles, this task looks tailor-made for bot work rather than a human editor, particularly if the articles are coming from human-written articles in the Czech wiki. Is this the case? Or were the Czech wiki articles written by a bot, also?

I'm not sure, from what I can tell they were written by humans, though perhaps using some sort of script to assist them at some point.--Kotniski (talk) 09:42, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, there probably should be a community discussion or alert about the bot. If there isn't one, can you start one. I assume there's a wikiproject Czechloslovakia?

The Polish municipality articles look fairly well done, so I don't think there will be any problems with this bot. That's my opinion. --68.127.233.138 (talk) 05:02, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I've mentioned it at the Czech WikiProject here (not Czechoslovakia for quite some time;) ), though this is just taking over work that's already being done by humans, so it isn't anything anyone needs to get particularly excited about.--Kotniski (talk) 09:29, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It looks straight forward. Notifying the project (okay, I suck at Eastern European geography) is sufficient in my opinion, again, due to the nature of the task. Please watch the project page and notify there of test runs and other milestones here. Thanks. --68.127.233.138 (talk) 04:38, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is a straightforward task that should be speedily approved I think. Kot is a well established bot operator with much success. Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:13, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No objections by the WPPJ, otherwise non-controversial. MBisanz talk 22:09, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
