Operator: [[Sam Korn]] (smoddy)

Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic

Programming Language(s): PHP, using Pillar

Function Overview: Tag pages in selected categories as being part of a task force.

Edit period(s): Once

Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y

Function Details:

Using basically the same code as Sambot 7, tag pages in the categories listed here with water-polo = yes. I would also like approval to run this for any task forces created in the future.

Any pages that got missed on that bot run but which should be tagged with ((WP Swimming)) in exactly the same way as that task worked.

Discussion[edit]

I concur. I see no reason against a general approval. --ThaddeusB (talk) 04:40, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just to clarify, are you asking for approval for any task force or just the ones in WikiProject Swimming? Also, the water polo task force seems a little under-staffed for the number of articles it is about to take on, but that's not really a bot approval issue. Just tags in ((WP Swimming)) and its redirects. I might well ask for AnomieBOT 28-like approval at some point, but I'd like to get there in stages so I know my code is absolutely perfect first. [[Sam Korn]] (smoddy) 15:52, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedily Approved. User has done virtually the same thing before, so a trial seems superfluous. – Quadell (talk) 19:46, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
