Function Details: Perform various tasks at the request of the affected WikiProjects:

• Add or remove banners on a specific set of pages (e.g. pages in a category, pages transcluding a template).
• Adjust banner parameters, particularly assessments and task forces.
• Fix banner shells on pages edited for the above reasons.

I seem to do variations on this task fairly often: see AnomieBOT 2, AnomieBOT 4, AnomieBOT 7, AnomieBOT 8, AnomieBOT 10, AnomieBOT 13, AnomieBOT 14, AnomieBOT 15, AnomieBOT 19, AnomieBOT 22, and AnomieBOT 23. Thus, I'm now requesting approval to do this same sort of thing in general.

The first task will be Wikipedia:Bot requests#Replacing project banners. After that, I have another request at User talk:Anomie#WP:The Elder Scrolls and Template:WPTES, and I'm sure there will be more WPVG requests coming. Anomie⚔ 16:06, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
